Amazing service, this is the best rental place in and around Davis! We had a big project constructing a shot put pit with hundreds of square feet of sod removal and installing decomposed granite. All Star Rents provided us with excellent service and all the machinery we needed. The sod cutter was great, the sod removal was smooth and fast. We also used the auto tamper for the gravel base and DG. It made the work over two days go without a hitch. Very knowledgeable staff. Patrick was super helpful and provided clear instructions on how to use the machinery. The machinery came fueled up which lasted for the whole job. BY the way, the sod cutter is one heavy machine. I worried about how we'd fit into our vehicle, let alone lift to load and unload. But the machinery came on a small trailer which made the loading/unloading and transport so convenient. Picking up and returning the gear was quick and easy. We picked up on Friday evening and returned on Monday morning which allowed us to start the work early and finish as late as we needed on the weekend. A fantastic deal! Definitely recommend this, as it took the pressure off whether we'd be able to complete the work in time. All Star Rents is a hidden little gem of Davis DIY. Highly recommend.

Rented a generator from them for a PG&E planned outage. Was able to reserve well in advance. They called to confirm the day before and delivered on time and picked up the next day. Super easy and affordable!
