Demaray Pool Supply

Went here today to get pool supplies and they had everything we needed. The guy was very knowledgeable and we got a lot of tips about how to care for our pool. Leslie’s Pool supply didn’t have much plus they never answer the phone! I definitely recommend this place for your pool supplies.

I was totally new to maintaining a pool and this place helped me get through some of the roughest circumstances. The advice is top notch and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

Service staff is awesome, installed a new pump on our hot tub while my family was on vacation. Always communicated clearly what costs would be, very polite on the phone, and all around exhibited professionalism. Our house sitters didn't meet the guy when he came out to install. Regardless, he knocked the job out flying solo and was very respectful to my property. Top notch install job. Service staff is deserving of 5 stars. Purchasing/sales department on the other hand was dismissive, rude, condescending, acted like I was a nuisance, and talked himself out of a sale not once, but 3 times! Don't send the guy an email because he'll have no idea how to open attachments (pdf) let alone print them. They didn't respond to what I suspect was a $700+ order in his email for over a week because the email account was "unavailable for some time". If you need maintenance, call their number directly. If you need supplies go to Leslie's. They'll treat you much more like a valued customer and you'll be much happier.

Well knowledgeable staff. This company has been around for a long time and is a very strong competitor to one other locally owned store for pool supplies and advice. When asked questions about my pool at the other local store it's been 2 weeks since I called and asked for help. Demary pool company is the place to go in town. Prices are high everywhere so don't be surprised. You can try to find something online but you're not going to get the advice you need to properly apply the chemicals or equipment you purchase. It's very valuable to have that along with just simple instructions on the side of a bottle. I've been with the other place in town for as many years as I can think of but it's not at the quality and great customer service that you would get here. Hope that helps. They solved my problem in 3 days when 2 weeks went by when I asked another company.

I have been going to Demaray Pool Supply for years. They are always very helpful and knowledgeable. I have had experience at other supply stores... such as Leslie's and have NOT received the same customer service. I went to Demaray today (Yuba City) due to my skimmer not working properly. He was so kind enough to fix it while I was there, being i come from out of town and it had slowed down a bit for him to take the time . I very much appreciate the service and going the extra Mile!! and yes I did look up some parts on line after returning home and Demaray's prices are very affordable in comparison. Do not trust these people! The guy (Bill) at the counter looked up a spa filter for me and charged me 71 dollars and some change for one filter. I bought two and when I received them I looked up the filter on line and discovered they paid 28 dollars apiece for them. Granted I would expect a mark up but roughly 40 dollars apiece is highway robbery. I called him today to explain that I thought this was unacceptable and he refused to compromise and said he won’t refund any of the 80 plus back. That is unacceptable and the worst customer service. They rip you off and then when confronted they say sorry your loss! Never again This is the same filter you gave me! Either refund my money and take back the unused product or stand by your corruption! It took you 10-15 of searching on line. The product you gave me is EXACTLY the same product I found on line. You still want to deceive a customer. There shouldn’t be any argument by your part. You rip your customers off period. No way around that!
