If you're looking for an honest, reliable pool company for in-ground pool repair or saltwater pool service, I highly recommend this family-owned business. We had an in-ground pool liner that had come out of the track and wouldn't stay back in place. Aaron came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, and got it repaired. They also tested our salt cell because I thought it had failed. Instead of trying to sell me a new one, they confirmed it was working properly and explained that the real issue was with the pool's water chemistry and balance. They scheduled a technician to return the very next day to balance the pool, showed up as promised, and charged very reasonable prices. Communication was excellent from start to finish. We had to reschedule because of a storm, and they reached out promptly to get everything rescheduled without any hassle. It's refreshing to find a company that's knowledgeable, honest, and focused on fixing the actual problem instead of selling unnecessary equipment. Excellent customer service, fair pricing, and a great family-owned business. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone needing pool repair or pool maintenance.

A couple months ago, my wife and I planned our 50th wedding anniversary trip that would send us out of town for 6 weeks from March to May. I went to Pinch A Penny and talked with Shanti to set up a time and date to have my pool opened two days before we returned from the trip. She set up the work order and told us of a program that would save us $900 on a new pump by a rebate from our electric company. We decided that getting a variable speed pump made sense to replace my aging pump. Long story short Aaron came on time and date opened the pool and installed the new pump. I came home a couple days later to a mostly clean pool running smoothly and about ready for swimming. Wonderful plan, well executed! Thanks to all for the efforts. Gary

Amazing staff, equipment selection and service ! I recently moved into a new home and the pool needed some work. They have had every part I’ve needed on hand from Polaris parts to the Intermatic Pool timer I needed which means no waiting to order or have it shipped. No better place in town !

I got a small inflatable hot tub and needed test strips and chemicals. The lady was very nice and helped me buy what I needed without undo pressure. Gave me a bottle if I wanted them to test my water and I ended up using it a week later because Google was wrong. They tested my water, gave me a printout of what was wrong and how to fix it, and sold me what I needed. Now, my little hot tub is perfect!

After years of struggling with our old pool company for maintenance, repairs, and cleaning we finally found our home! Pinch and Penny is the best and their customer service is incredible! Nice folks here, family business. Pool chemicals, parts, equipment, cleaning robots, water chemistry test kits, and other accessories. Also they do repairs on your pool cleaner, and I believe they do repairs on pool equipment within a 3 miles radius. Store was neat, organized, and well stocked. Bring in a sample of your pool or hot tub’s water to be tested here. Owner Aaron has years of experience in the industry.
