This may be a little irrelevant to people looking for product feedback but I think it's relevant from a customer service perspective and also from a human perspective. I went into this shop looking for a specific chemical for my fish aquarium hobby and was having an absolutely horrible day. I had some extremely bad personal news earlier in the day and was feeling awful. The kind of awful that eats at your brain. When I let the guy at the shop know i only needed a small amount of the chemical and not the entire gallon it was sold in, he went out of his way to find a little glass jar and filled it with some and just gave it to me without hesitation. When I offered to pay he looked baffled and said it was not a big deal. Well, it was a big deal, and I just wanted to say thank you. Your small kindness had a large impact and I just wanted to share that with your potential customers. Thanks for being so decent.

POOR COMMUNICATION- I normally don’t leave bad reviews but I don’t know how else to get this feedback to the owner. I called last week to schedule an appointment and the guy said they would call me right back and let me know when they can get to me, no call back. I called back the following Tuesday when I got back in town and the same guy told me the same thing that they would call me right back and let me know when they could come out, no call back. I get it, it’s summer and people get busy but don’t set expectations so high just to not follow through. Tell me you’re busy or that you can’t come out for a few weeks so I can call someone else, it’s no big deal. Just need to work on setting better expectations than " I’ll call you right back" and then ghosting a potential customer. I called another pool and spa place and they scheduled me on the same phone call within the week and they were super helpful.
