Protege Events helped make our 30-year Reunion the BEST ever!! They responded quickly to a last-minute request, and were extremely helpful and accommodating when our original provider wasn't able to make our needs. Protege supplied tables, chairs, linens, and propane heaters. Their prices were great, the service was exceptional, and we really felt like Mario and the Protege team had our back! Highly recommend.

Asked a question and was asked to send some info I did and they proceeded to not return my text and and didn't answer phone calls. Bad business!

The only reason I'm even giving 1 star is because we did get the rentals. That being said, I cannot recommend Protege at all. I used them for my wedding, and it was borderline impossible to get in touch with someone both prior to booking and after booking them. My coordinators could not reach them, I would frequently call and leave voicemails, and would only get a response after spamming them with texts for days. First issue- the morning of my wedding, Mario made comments about how the weather is cold for a wedding and how it was an "interesting choice" to be having my wedding outside that day. Not cool to be negatively commenting on something the bride can't control to her face while she's scrambling to set everything up for her wedding. Next- I found out from my sister in law later that Mario and his team were struggling to keep the tablecloths from blowing in the wind and he snapped at her that "we're only doing this one more time and then we're leaving". My sister in law asked if they brought table clips, and she was told that they would be an extra charge, and when she offered to pay for them on the spot he didn't even have them! She ended up tucking the tablecloths under the tables and securing them with the chairs herself. Finally- at 1pm (3 hours after they dropped off the rentals and left the venue) my coordinators texted me that the cocktail tables I ordered were not dropped off. I called and was told that they had been used for an event the day before and needed to be cleaned apparently, but that they were on their way. It sounded like they just forgot, but whatever. The cocktail tables didn't end up arriving until well after 4pm with my ceremony starting at 5pm. I hated having to chase down tables that I had paid for, on the day of my wedding. There aren't a ton of rental options that serve the area my wedding was in (Camp Nelson), so I felt stuck with this company, but honestly if you can go with any other company I recommend doing that. It was a huge headache from start to finish dealing with Protege.
