1. Do not even think about renting tables without tablecloths. The tables are beaten up. 2. Verify the tablecloths are not stained. Ours were and we couldn't use them, meaning we also couldn't use the tables. See #1. 3. Verify the tablecloth color is what you want. We rented silver, but they were more of a dingy gray. It didn't matter because of the stains. See #2. 4. The plastic chairs may be rated for 250lbs, but anybody over 100lbs will not feel stable no matter what they say. Especially scary for elderly people. Get the wooden chairs. 5. They ruined our wedding, but at least they owned up to it and gave us a full refund. It took my wife calling and pushing, but in the end they did the right thing. 6. Just be careful. They were really nice people, but their equipment was disappointing.

I would definitely not recommend event plus! I emailed to confirm my reservation for 50 white resin chairs that I had already reserved and signed a contract for, and received a response 10 days before my pickup date stating they allowed another customer to extend their reservation and my chairs would not be available any longer. I’m most upset that I only heard word after emailing to confirm, they didn’t even bother to call me and let me know as soon as they knew! If I hadn’t emailed I wouldn’t have had any time to find a replacement. To make it worse this was for my wedding, no sympathy at all was given and the fact they let someone extend their reservation instead of honoring the contract I had signed for my order is very unprofessional. Do not book with this company if you expect them to follow through with your order!!!

I used Events Plus for a wedding at a personal residence. They showed up the day after they told us they would and since they arrived when nobody was home, they were about to leave and not return. The lady I talked to on the phone was rude and unprofessional. The equipment itself was in poor condition. We rented five par can lights, all of which were dented to some extent and two of which had wiring coming loose. The tables looked like they had been attacked by bears. They had long scratches, chunks out of the sides, and many of them had no feet. We had to attach felt ends to all of the furniture to avoid scraping the floor when it rained and we had to move indoors. We also rented natural wood chairs, which were actually in decent condition and did look nice. we also rented park benches that were in good condition. I would recommend renting the chairs and the benches if you absolutely needed to. Otherwise, we had a bad experience with equipment and service and I do not recommend them.

The first time I ever reached out to them, they were responsive and professional. They unfortunately weren't available for my day (so they must be good and busy!), but what I loved was that they didn't just leave me hanging, and they sent me a referral. I thought that was awesome of them, because I was struggling to find someone, so the referral in exchange for letting me know he was booked already was very thoughtful. I will definitely keep Events Plus in mind again for future rentals!

I picked up my items on A Tuesday around 438. It was a weeklong rental. When I went to go drop them off on the next Tuesday they were not there. I called them and there was no answer. The next Day I called them and they were claiming that they close at 3:30 every day. I was there at 3:15 the day before and the gates were locked. I looked at the timestamp from my receipt and it said 1638 as the time. They were very rude especially the guy. Definitely not going to use them again.

Barbara is the one who works the office. She is a busy lady and works event to event. They have worked our expo at the george r brown for 5 years. They are a great value. The do their best to accommodate the customer. She may not call you back right at the moment because they dont have a lot of office staff but they will get back with you. I will be using them again in the future and refer them out.

Love this place! I rent from them everytime we have a catering event and im never disappointed. They have even let me return a day late with no fees. Very friendly and helpful when picking up and dropping off.
